October 1986

Dear Friend:
We are excited about an important project Front Runners is
conducting, and we want to give you the chance to help us in our cause.
On Saturday, October 18, beginning at 10 AM, Front Runners New York
will sponsor its fourth annual Benefit Run to raise money for
organizations that provide various services to the gay and lesbian
community.

We are asking that you pledge as much as you can for every

mile "your" runner runs.

All money collected will be distributed to one

or more of the organizations that you or your runner select from the list
below.
American Run for the End of AIDS
Gay Men's Health Crisis
Lesbian and Gay Community Center
Senior Action in a Gay Environment
National Gay Task Force
Gay Switchboard
Institute for the Protection of Lesbian and Gay Youth
Lesbian Herstory Archives
We invite you and your friends to bring a picnic lunch and join us
in the Sheep Meadow in Central Park directly after the Benefit Run.

We

look forward to seeing you there!
Please be as generous as possible.

Thank you for making our miles

more meaningful!
Regards,
Firth Whitehouse, Benefit Chair
Richard Walker, President
