CLASS OBJECTIVES
This class is designed to prepare you for the Front Runners Track and Field

FRONT RUNNERS NEW YORK FIFTH ANNUAL BENEFIT RUN
will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 10:00 am. Meet at the Daniel Webster
statue just inside Central Park at the 72nd Street entrance. Runners are
welcome to designate an alternate date, such as the day of the New York City
Marathon, as their benefit run.
Ask friends and co-workers to sponsor you. Also, please consider
sponsoring yourself. Sponsors agree to contribute a specified amount per mile
that you run. The total contribution is the number of miles multiplied times
the amount pledged per mile. Use the sponsor sheet pledge form provided to
record pledges.
The simplest procedure is to determine in advance the distance you
plan to run and then to collect the contribution at the same time that you ask
people to sponsor you with a pledge per mile.
All contributions should be in the form of a check made payable
directly to one of the organizations listed below or to another
lesbian-and-gay-relate d service organization. Checks should not be payable to
FRNY. The canceled check is the individual sponsor's receipt for purposes of
tax deduction.
Bring the checks to any FR event. Do not mail checks directly to
the designated organization. Front Runners will collect all the contributions
and turn them over to the various organizations at one time.
