When you send a digital item to the FRNY Archives by emailing to to frnydonate@gmail.com, you are asked to agree to one of the following options.
In Human speak:
Option A - Donor Agreement - I donate the title (ownership) and copyright to FRNY of the attached images, but I give myself a license to do whatever I want with them.*
Option B - License Agreement - I keep the title (ownership) and copyright, but I give FRNY a license to use the attached images.
* Note that you may be entitled to a tax deduction for your donation as FRNY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please consult a tax professional.

I hereby irrevocably transfer and assign to Front Runners New York, Inc. (“FRNY”), its successors and assigns, all right (whether now known or hereinafter invented), title, and interest, throughout the world, including any copyrights and renewals or extensions thereto, in the accompanying image(s) (“Images”), subject to my Licensee Rights, as described below.
FRNY shall provide me with the following rights (“Licensee Rights”): a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, and publicly display the Images (in whole or part) in any manner I may choose, without compensation, notification, approval or any other obligation from me.
I represent that I have the right to assign and transfer the Images. The Images are provided “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied. FRNY agrees to indemnify me for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this assignment or FRNY’s use of the Images.
I agree that any materials in the collection which are not to be retained by Archives of FRNY shall be disposed of by Archives of FRNY as it sees fit.

• There are no warranties, express or implied. The image(s) are provided “as is.”
• I will not be liable for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or FRNY’s use of the image(s).
